Breast/Chest Massage for Self Love and Nourishment

Sunday, Feb 9, 12-2pm ET

Virtual (live + recorded)

Pricing Options: $40 /$30

Many of us are anticipating hardship with the incoming administration this year. We may be holding fear, anxiety, or grief in our body. Let’s intentionally care for ourselves within community as we prepare for whatever is to come.

The health and well being of the Breast and Chest tissue is interwoven and interconnected to the entire body.  By caring for the Chest and Breast tissue, we send nourishment and open a myriad of opportunities of greater well being to ourselves physically and emotionally.

  • Do your breasts or chest hurt during menstruation?

  • Do you have trouble accepting the size or shape of your breasts or your chest?

  • Do you feel skilled in touching your chest or breasts for your own pleasure and nourishment?

It’s time to open up to unconditional self love through Breast + Chest Massage!

In this workshop we will practice an extended self care routine and explore all the benefits of Breast and Chest massage.

  • Bring well being into the lymph system, the heart and circulatory system, the lungs and the breath.

  • Create space to release grief and loss held in the center of the heart.

  • Create space to connect to the unloved parts of your breasts/chests and open to unconditional self love.

So many of us don't touch our Breasts and Chest in a caring self loving way– the way we might touch so many other parts of our body.  We touch them to look for lumps and problems, and we touch them sexually. The Chest and Breasts are skipped in most massage techniques in post-colonial culture, while many Indigenous practices include Chest and Breast Massage.

In this class we explore a whole range of therapeutic and varied touch.  We will reflect on our  relationship to our Breast and Chest tissue and the touch and care they have received.  In a supportive container we will discuss our relationship to our Breasts and Chests. Some participants may have had tissue, lymph, and muscle removed from their Breast/Chest area for any number of reasons. This is a space to care for your unique body and experience.

This class is open to anyone who would like to care for their Chest and Breasts. We ask cis men to support the space by spreading the word but not attending. People with top surgeries and mastectomy are most welcome.  The class will address scar tissue care.

As the class is conducted on Zoom there is ample opportunity to honor your consent and the amount of privacy or sharing that is right for you.
